Chronological story of our arrival and of the Sundance events

Jane Richardson's typed notes and interviews. � June �September 1938. � 6 cm of textual records (335 pages). � The series consists of typescripts of interviews undertaken by Jane Hanks during her first field season on the Blackfoot (Siksika) reserve in southern Alberta. Her informants were Sleigh, Many Guns, White Headed Chief, and Mrs. Takes Gun Himself, and the discussions recorded pertained to Blackfoot life, values, warfare, religious societies, and prominent individuals. Includes her diary of arrival and Sun Dance.
